Care & Maintenance

Spills
Act fast. Blot spills immediately with a clean cloth. Avoid rubbing as this can spread the stain. For best results, use the Sofabase Care Kit designed for safe upholstery cleaning.

General Cleaning
Vacuum regularly to remove dust and debris. For marks or light stains, gently spot clean with a mild, tested cleaner. Avoid soaking the fabric as excess moisture can damage upholstery.

Protection
Keep your sofa out of direct sunlight. Avoid damp areas and use throws where needed to protect high use areas.

Care & Protection
For the best long term care, we recommend the Sofa Care Kit for safe everyday maintenance. For complete peace of mind, protect your sofa with our Sofa Armour+ 6 Year Care Plan, covering accidental spills, stains and everyday mishaps. Learn more about Sofa Armour+.

FAQs

Does Cyber Grey work in a modern or contemporary living room?

Perfectly. Cyber Grey has a cool, sophisticated tone that suits contemporary, industrial and modern living room schemes naturally. It pairs beautifully with darker wood furniture, charcoal accents and warm metallic tones, giving the room a considered, intentional feel that Pixel Beige cannot achieve in the same way.

Is the Owen power recliner sofa noisy when reclining?

No. The soft closing electric motor on the Owen operates quietly and smoothly, which is one of the most important practical differences between a quality power recliner and cheaper alternatives. You can recline without disturbing others in the room, which matters particularly during film watching or late evening use.

Does the Owen 3 seater need to be plugged in at all times?

Yes. The Owen is an electric power recliner and requires a mains power connection to operate the recline mechanism and the USB charging ports. Position the sofa within reach of a wall socket before delivery to ensure everything is ready to use from day one.

How durable is the Cyber Grey polyester fabric on a recliner sofa?

The Owen uses a soft but durable polyester fabric that is specifically chosen for recliner use, where fabric is subjected to more movement and friction than a standard sofa. Cyber Grey in particular is a practical colour choice as it is naturally more forgiving of everyday marks and light wear than lighter fabric options.

I find the sofa very comfortable with good back support in its regular position and I like the adjustable head rests. The thick arm rests are nice for leaning on. The extension is very smooth on my carpet with the remote control (you only get one to share), but if sitting with it extended you do have to slouch otherwise you end up sitting over the join between the back sections which is a bit hard which is where I've dropped a star. The fabric is nice and soft with a slight texture. It isn't completely taut (not really baggy, just not taut) over the seat cushions so I hope this doesn't affect the longevity as I suspect due to the style and sliding mechanism it might be tricky to re-cover. I can't comment on the longevity of the sliding mechanism as I have only just got it. I hope it lasts as it was a job getting it into my house. It comes in two halves with the headrests separate. Had a nervous week as I new my door was narrow. My doorway is 73cm and the delivery team JUST got the sections through at an angle with the feet taken off, but the room was open from there so if you have narrow corridors etc you might struggle unless you have a bigger door.

Just had ours delivered!

It is absolutely perfect, very comfy, comes with the Cushions in the images!

Perfect a a spare double bed if you have unexpected guests stay over!!

If your worried that this appears cheap, don't be, it is a bargain. it is a very heavy well made sofa, not at all a cheaper alternative. We saw a virtually identical models in DFS and Sofolgy for nearly £1000 more!

100% recommend if a power slider is your thing!
