Care & Maintenance

Spills
Act fast. Blot spills immediately with a clean cloth. Avoid rubbing as this can spread the stain. For best results, use the Sofabase Care Kit designed for safe upholstery cleaning.

General Cleaning
Vacuum regularly to remove dust and debris. For marks or light stains, gently spot clean with a mild, tested cleaner. Avoid soaking the fabric as excess moisture can damage upholstery.

Protection
Keep your sofa out of direct sunlight. Avoid damp areas and use throws where needed to protect high use areas.

FAQs

Could the Sofia Green 2 Seater work as the main sofa in my room?

Yes. Green gives the compact 2 Seater enough visual presence to become the focal sofa, while its curved arms, high back and chenille texture make it feel substantial rather than like secondary seating.

What makes Luxe Chenille different from a plain polyester looking fabric?

Chenille has a more tactile surface and visible depth, which gives the upholstery a softer and richer appearance. On the Green Sofia, that texture helps the colour feel layered rather than completely flat.

How easy is it to live with the Sofia Green sofa if we have occasional spills?

DuraClean is designed to give you more time to deal with accidental liquids before they penetrate the fabric. It adds practical protection while maintaining the soft chenille finish customers are choosing the Sofia for.

Can I see the Green fabric at home before ordering the sofa?

Yes. A fabric sample lets you view the Green Luxe Chenille in your own lighting and against your walls, flooring and furnishings, which is the best way to decide whether the colour works with your room.

I find the sofa very comfortable with good back support in its regular position and I like the adjustable head rests. The thick arm rests are nice for leaning on. The extension is very smooth on my carpet with the remote control (you only get one to share), but if sitting with it extended you do have to slouch otherwise you end up sitting over the join between the back sections which is a bit hard which is where I've dropped a star. The fabric is nice and soft with a slight texture. It isn't completely taut (not really baggy, just not taut) over the seat cushions so I hope this doesn't affect the longevity as I suspect due to the style and sliding mechanism it might be tricky to re-cover. I can't comment on the longevity of the sliding mechanism as I have only just got it. I hope it lasts as it was a job getting it into my house. It comes in two halves with the headrests separate. Had a nervous week as I new my door was narrow. My doorway is 73cm and the delivery team JUST got the sections through at an angle with the feet taken off, but the room was open from there so if you have narrow corridors etc you might struggle unless you have a bigger door.

Just had ours delivered!

It is absolutely perfect, very comfy, comes with the Cushions in the images!

Perfect a a spare double bed if you have unexpected guests stay over!!

If your worried that this appears cheap, don't be, it is a bargain. it is a very heavy well made sofa, not at all a cheaper alternative. We saw a virtually identical models in DFS and Sofolgy for nearly £1000 more!

100% recommend if a power slider is your thing!
