Care & Maintenance

Spills
Act fast. Blot spills immediately with a clean cloth. Avoid rubbing as this can spread the stain. For best results, use the Sofabase Care Kit designed for safe upholstery cleaning.

General Cleaning
Vacuum regularly to remove dust and debris. For marks or light stains, gently spot clean with a mild, tested cleaner. Avoid soaking the fabric as excess moisture can damage upholstery.

Protection
Keep your sofa out of direct sunlight. Avoid damp areas and use throws where needed to protect high use areas.

FAQs

Will the Sofia Teal 3 Seater look good in a modern living room?

Yes. Teal brings more depth than a standard neutral, while the Sofia keeps the look refined with softly curved arms, neat piping and dark wood feet. It works especially well with warm neutrals, wood tones, brass accents and layered textures.

What does the Teal Luxe Chenille fabric feel like?

The Luxe Chenille has a soft, tactile finish that gives the teal colour richness and visible depth. It feels inviting to the touch and helps the sofa look more considered than a flatter, more basic upholstery.

What is DuraClean and why does it matter?

DuraClean is an invisible fabric protection that helps liquids take longer to soak into the upholstery. That gives you more time to blot everyday spills while keeping the Luxe Chenille soft, comfortable and visually appealing.

Is the Sofia built on a strong frame?

Yes. The Sofia is British handmade with solid hardwood rails, zigzag seat springs and elasticated webbing across the back. It is also backed by a 10 year structural warranty and a 1 year manufacturer warranty for added reassurance.

I find the sofa very comfortable with good back support in its regular position and I like the adjustable head rests. The thick arm rests are nice for leaning on. The extension is very smooth on my carpet with the remote control (you only get one to share), but if sitting with it extended you do have to slouch otherwise you end up sitting over the join between the back sections which is a bit hard which is where I've dropped a star. The fabric is nice and soft with a slight texture. It isn't completely taut (not really baggy, just not taut) over the seat cushions so I hope this doesn't affect the longevity as I suspect due to the style and sliding mechanism it might be tricky to re-cover. I can't comment on the longevity of the sliding mechanism as I have only just got it. I hope it lasts as it was a job getting it into my house. It comes in two halves with the headrests separate. Had a nervous week as I new my door was narrow. My doorway is 73cm and the delivery team JUST got the sections through at an angle with the feet taken off, but the room was open from there so if you have narrow corridors etc you might struggle unless you have a bigger door.

Just had ours delivered!

It is absolutely perfect, very comfy, comes with the Cushions in the images!

Perfect a a spare double bed if you have unexpected guests stay over!!

If your worried that this appears cheap, don't be, it is a bargain. it is a very heavy well made sofa, not at all a cheaper alternative. We saw a virtually identical models in DFS and Sofolgy for nearly £1000 more!

100% recommend if a power slider is your thing!
